Powerball ticket in Houston wins $2 million: Winning numbers, where it was sold
HOUSTON - Someone who bought a Powerball ticket in Houston won a $2 million prize in Wednesday night’s drawing.
Where the $2 million ticket was sold
According to the Texas Lottery, the winning ticket was sold at Barri at 601 North Cesar Chavez Blvd in the East End.
The quick pick ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers but not the red Powerball number. The Power Play option was selected.
What's next:
The winner has 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.

The winning numbers for Wednesday night’s drawing were 3, 16, 29, 61, 69 and the Powerball was 22.

Houston Powerball player wins $2 million
Someone in Houston woke up a multi-millionaire after buying a lottery ticket at an East End store. FOX 26's Angie Rodriguez visited the store and spoke to a hopeful local.

FOX 26 stopped by the store where the ticket was sold and spoke to a hopeful Powerball player.
"I'm more enthusiastic about coming here now that we learned about this," said Irving Chamberlain. "I think everybody is going to be coming down here."
"What would you have done if you had won $2 million?" asked FOX 26's Angie Rodriguez.
"To be honest I wouldn’t know what to do. That’s a lot of money to think of, so I don’t know," Chamberlain said. "I would love to take a trip that’s for sure, an out of town vacation to a nice island somewhere."
