Powerball jackpot swells again, now at a record $1.3 billion

North Texas billboards are not designed to display an amount as large as the next expected Powerball jackpot-- a whopping $1.3 billion.
No ticket matched all six Powerball numbers Saturday night for a record jackpot of nearly $950 million.  The winning numbers were 16-19-32-34-57 and the Powerball number 13. All six numbers must be correct to win, although the first five can be in any order.  The odds to win the largest lottery prize in U.S. history were one in 292.2 million. There were several Texas prize winners.  Two tickets are worth two million dollars and another is worth a million dollars. The Texas winning tickets were purchased in Austin, El Paso and Cove, which is near Houston.
