Power outages impact North Texans during bitter cold weather
Crews from North Texas power companies spent the overnight and early morning hours Sunday working to restore power to thousands of customers.
Texas- New Mexico Power Co sent out a tweet Sunday morning indicating crews started working at 3:00 a.m. Sunday and that the goal is to have power restored by 3 p.m. Sunday. Most outages were in the Princeton area.
Oncor reported 2,100 customers in Dallas County at 6:30 Sunday morning. 1,600 of them were in the Carrollton area. 738 were without power in Tarrant County.
By 8:30 a.m. outages were down to 576 customers in Dallas County and 648 in Tarrant County.
