Police: North Texas pastors bound, beat child with extension cord

Police in Mesquite have arrested three church pastors accused of assaulting a child with an extension cord during an interrogation.

Deborah Ann Graham, 64, David Asa Graham (a.k.a Edward Gandy), 24, and Tonya Hill, 46, have been charged with unlawful restraint and engaging in organized criminal activity by committing an assault causing bodily injury.

According to police, the three bound and assaulted a child with an extension cord at The Church – A Place of Worship for All Nations.

The crime is said to have happened in late February or early March at the church located at 4100 I-30 in Mesquite.

The three pastors were reportedly trying to get a confession from the child for a “suspected crime,” police said.

Following an investigation, the three were arrested Friday at their Allen home.
