Police investigating two shootings in Fort Worth

There were two shootings in Fort Worth early Wednesday morning.

The first happened around 12:30 a.m. at a home on Provine Street in the Meadowbrook neighborhood near Oakland Lake Park.

Police found a man lying dead just inside the front door. Two women were at the scene and police believe one of them was the shooter.

The home does have a history of domestic violence, police said.

Also around midnight, Fort Worth police were called to a park along Avenue N, north of Martin Luther King Junior Freeway.

A group of teens told police they were walking to the park when a silver car pulled up and started shooting. The car then sped off.

Two people were hit – a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old male. Both were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Police have not yet released any details about the suspects or motive in that shooting.
