Police investigating two shootings in Fort Worth
FORT WORTH, Texas - There were two shootings in Fort Worth early Wednesday morning.
The first happened around 12:30 a.m. at a home on Provine Street in the Meadowbrook neighborhood near Oakland Lake Park.
Police found a man lying dead just inside the front door. Two women were at the scene and police believe one of them was the shooter.
The home does have a history of domestic violence, police said.
Also around midnight, Fort Worth police were called to a park along Avenue N, north of Martin Luther King Junior Freeway.
A group of teens told police they were walking to the park when a silver car pulled up and started shooting. The car then sped off.
Two people were hit – a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old male. Both were taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Police have not yet released any details about the suspects or motive in that shooting.
