Police car flips in Fort Worth

A Fort Worth police car rolled over early Tuesday morning, but no one was seriously hurt.

The accident happened around 4 a.m. at the intersection of Northern Cross Boulevard and N. Beach Street in north Fort Worth.

FWPD's central division had just wrapped up a chase. The officer was on his way to assist, but was not using lights and sirens.

He stopped at a stop sign and then was hit by a car as he made his way through the intersection.

Both the officer and the driver of the car were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
