Plano ISD announces lone superintendent finalist

PLANO, Texas - The Plano Independent School District’s board of trustees named a lone finalist for their new superintendent.

The board on Tuesday picked Interim Deputy Superintendent Sara Bonser for the top spot at the district. She has served the Rockwall and Plano school districts for the past 27 years.

Bonser has been filling in since Dr. Brian Binggeli’s resignation in November.

He left after serving the district for just two and a half years. The school board cited philosophical differences as the reason for his departure.
