Man sought in Tenn. as serial rapist arrested in Dallas
DALLAS (AP) — Federal authorities say a 19-year-old man wanted in Tennessee on allegations that he's a serial rapist has been arrested at a Dallas bus station.
The U.S. Marshals Service said in a release that Darrin Walker was apprehended Friday as he was waiting to board a bus during a layover at the station.
Walker had been sought by police in Memphis, Tennessee, for allegedly abducting three women on separate occasions earlier this month and then assaulting them. Walker is charged with three counts of aggravated rape, three counts of aggravated kidnapping and one count of aggravated robbery.
Authorities say Walker is being held at the Dallas County jail pending his return to Tennessee.
It was not immediately clear if he has an attorney who could respond to the charges.
