Man fatally shot in Red Bird, Dallas police investigating

Red Bird, TX - A 27-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday night in the Red Bird area, according to Dallas police.

What we know:

Police responded to a shooting call in the 4300 block of W. Camp Wisdom Road shortly after 7:30 p.m.

Officers found DeElvin Smith, 27, with a gunshot wound at the location. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation, and no further details have been released.
