Man fatally shot on Fort Worth's west side

FORT WORTH, Texas - Fort Worth police are investigating the murder of a man in a field on the west side.

Officers found him along Las Vegas Trail, near Camp Bowie Boulevard Monday night. He died at the hospital.

Investigators are looking at surveillance video from two nearby businesses to try to find out who shot him and why.

The man’s name has not yet been released.
