Man arrested for kidnapping woman in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, Texas - Fort Worth police caught the man they said kidnapped a woman and threatened her with a knife.

Ontario Arnaz Ward, 33, is charged with aggravated kidnapping.

Police said last month he drove the woman to a motel on South Freeway near Seminary Drive. He jumped into the back seat and started to beat her.

She opened the door and escaped with minor injuries, police said.
