Lightning sparks multiple fires in Fort Worth

The rainy weather overnight brought some damage to parts of the area.

A FOX 4 executive producer snapped this photo of a tree in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas. He said there was a lot of lightning overnight.

In Fort Worth, there were two confirmed fires started by lighting – one on Ryan Avenue west of Interstate 35W near Seminary Drive and one on Anna Grace Drive east of the interstate near Oak Groves Road.

Firefighters worked to quickly get both fires under control. No one was hurt at either home.
