Lightning likely sparks Allen house fire

Overnight lightning may have caused a house fire in Allen.

Firefighters are investigating the possibility that the home on Boxwood Drive was hit by lightning.

The flames were reported around 4 a.m., just as storms were moving through the area.

No one was hurt.

The family who lives there is reportedly on vacation.
