Large grass fire burns in Denton County

DENTON, Texas - Firefighters are battling a large grass fire at the Robson Ranch golf course in Denton.

The fire in the 10700 block of Robson Ranch Road started before noon Thursday. It’s not yet clear what sparked it.

The Denton Fire Department has already requested extra trucks and help from Argyle to control the flames.
