Kaufman County sergeant killed in motorcycle crash
KAUFMAN, Texas - The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of a sergeant who was killed in a motorcycle accident.
Sgt. Daniel Van Huss died on Sunday afternoon.
He had been with the sheriff’s office for nearly 15 years and received a promotion last Monday.
He was just 37 years old.
Details on what caused the accident were not released.
