John Wiley Price's home burglarized on Friday

The home of Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price was burglarized on Friday, an aide confirms.

Multiple Dallas police squad cars could be seen outside the home in North Oak Cliff on Friday evening.

A Dallas police call log indicates there was a call about 5:30 p.m. Friday about a burglary at the home. It wasn't immediately known what was taken.

"It's pretty rough," said Price assistant Vincent Hall. "An otherwise orderly house has been what I would consider ransacked."

Hall said whoever broke in brought some things from the home outside and clearly had gone through belongings on the inside.

An investigation into the break-in is underway by Dallas police.
