Hundreds show up to raise money for officers shot in Dallas

Hundreds of people showed up for a fundraiser to help the victims of April's shooting at a Home Depot in Dallas.

The Dallas Police Department and Home Depot employees hosted the event.

Proceeds benefit Officer Crystal Almeida and Home Depot loss prevention officer, Scott Painter.

Both are still recovering from gunshot wounds.

Some of the money raised is also going to the family of Officer Rogelio Santander.

He was shot and killed by a person caught shoplifting.
