Hundreds attend Dallas mayor's back to school fair

The annual Dallas mayor's back to school fair attracted huge crowds early Friday morning.

Parents brought children to Dallas Fair Park for free health, dental and vision screenings. There were also free hair cuts and other services.

Students also left with free backpacks and school supplies.

The event is open until 2 Friday afternoon to families with school-aged children who live in Dallas or attend a Dallas ISD school.
