Human remains found near Trinity River in Dallas

Human remains were found near the Trinity River by downtown Dallas on Tuesday.

Dallas police said officers got a call from city employees just before 11 a.m. on Tuesday. The workers were cleaning out debris along the Trinity Watershed in the1900 block of Beckley Avenue when they found human remains.

Homicide responded to the scene and an investigation is underway into how the remains got there and what happened.
