From now until December 31, you can see more than 500 nativity scenes in the DeGolyer House on the grounds of the Dallas Arboretum.
The Artistry of the Nativity has nativity scenes from 50 countries. The exhibit is on loan from three Dallas families: Lydia and Dan Novokov, Joyce and Larry Lacerte and Mary and Mark Terry.
About 100 volunteers serve as docents for exhibits in the DeGolyer House, and Charlotte Gibbons is one of them. The Dallas native loves introducing people to the magic inside. She's donated six years and 2,000 hours as a volunteer.
There are lots of volunteer opportunities at the Dallas Arboretum. Call (214) 515-6500 for more information.
