High school football and Christmas converge at The Star in Frisco
Fresh of a Cowboys win, The Star in Frisco played host to quite the combo of events on Black Friday.
This is the second year for Christmas at The Star, and as the event happened, hundreds were already there for the High School football playoffs, making it quite the way to transition from Thanksgiving into Christmas.
Inside the Ford Center in Frisco, the high school football season that’s captivated fans all fall is winding down. A playoff clash between Reedy and Midlothian high schools on the day after Thanksgiving, as fans traded turkey legs for concession snacks.
The sounds of fall indoors, only rivaled by the sounds of winter just outside, as hundreds came from all over to see the first Christmas Spectacular show of the season. It was complete with Charlotte Jones Anderson and Cowboys legend Darren Woodson lighting the tree.
The Christmas Spectacular show will continue every Friday and Saturday night until Christmas.
