Gwinnett County Police Release Video of How to Act during Traffic Stop

Gwinnett County police are taking steps to bridge the communication gap between law enforcement and citizens.

They've released a new educational video. The goal is to show people, especially young drivers, reasonable ways to interact with police during traffic stops.

Gwinnett County Police Chief Butch Ayers said this video lets citizens know exactly what police officers do during a traffic stop, and why they do it.

Chief Ayers said the video is also designed to enlighten viewers on what Georgia law requires drivers to do when police stop them.
