Girl injured in crash following police chase

A North Texas girl is recovering from injuries she suffered during a crash that halted a police chase.

Fort Worth police say the pursuit began Friday night when officers spotted a car being driven erratically near the I-35 and I-20 interchange.

Police say the driver refused to pull over.

Officers then gave chase, and after driving two miles, the car crashed into a mini-van and a pick-up truck.

Police say the girl was inside the van. She was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

The driver fleeing from police also received minor injuries. He faces charges of evading arrest.
