Garland police search for murder suspect
Garland Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information on the whereabouts of a 22-year-old murder suspect.
Billy Dupree Owens is believed to have killed 21-year-old Amrit Tejan just before 1 a.m. on May 21.
Investigators say Tejan's car left the roadway in the 4200 block of Bobtown Road and struck a tree.
He was found dead inside the vehicle as a result of a gunshot wound.
Police consider Owens to be armed and dangerous.
