Fuel, groceries spill onto Hwy. 75 in fiery crash
Highway 75 was closed in McKinney Tuesday morning because of a fiery crash.
The crash happened just after 10 p.m. Monday in the southbound lanes of the highway between Bloomdale and Wilmeth roads.
The driver of an 18-wheeler lost control and hit a guardrail. He got out with only minor injuries before the truck caught fire.
Hazmat crews were called to clean up the accident.
There was a diesel spill on the road. The truck's trailer was also loaded with groceries that spilled out.
Traffic was diverted onto the service road.
