Fort Worth police arrest man accused of shooting after 'heated' argument

A "heated" argument led to a shooting that sent one man to a hospital late Saturday night, according to Fort Worth police.

The shooting happened just before 10 p.m., in the 4100 block of Sandage Avenue.

Responding officers found the victim, who said he was sitting in a car with the shooter, when they got into an argument.

That’s when he said the suspect pulled out a gun and shot him several times.

The shooter then drove away.

The victim was taken to JPS Hospital in stable condition.

About 30 minutes later, officers found the suspect’s vehicle. They stopped the vehicle and took the suspect into custody in the 5100 block of Granbury Road.

The suspect’s name was not released.
