Flames seen from outside during fire at Fort Worth hotel

Fort Worth, TX - Firefighters responded to a hotel fire in Fort Worth on Thursday.
What we know:
Fort Worth firefighters arrived at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel on East Altamesa Boulevard, near I-35W, after an automatic alarm was triggered.
Upon arrival, firefighters saw flames coming from a sixth-story window.
Crews initially fought the fire from outside the building but later went inside to extinguish the flames. The fire was brought under control within 17 minutes.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

The cause of the fire remains unclear.
It is unknown if anyone was in the hotel room where the fire started.
What's next:
At the time of the fire, 154 of the hotel’s 232 rooms were occupied. Firefighters are working with hotel staff to determine if guests can remain at the property or if they need to leave due to water damage.
