Forest Hill police seek man on murder warrant after fatal shooting

Police are searching for a 53-year-old man in connection with a fatal shooting on Sunday evening in Forest Hill, a city ten miles south of Fort Worth.

What we know:

Forest Hill police officers responded to a reported shooting about 5:47 p.m. and found two people who had been injured. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner later identified the victim as 34-year-old Jamerian Williams of Fort Worth. Police confirmed the two victims are related.

Police identified Danny Ray Taylor, Jr. as the suspect wanted on a murder warrant. Forest Hill officials say Taylor, Jr. is the husband of one of the victims.

What we don't know:

We don't know the details of what led to the fatal shooting.

Police have not identified the second victim, who was hospitalized after the shooting.

Investigators said Taylor, Jr. may be driving a white 2014 Cadillac CTS with Texas license plate KCM1104. Police urged anyone who sees Taylor, Jr. or the vehicle not to approach or try to detain him, but to call law enforcement immediately.

"One individual did expire at the scene, our second individual has been transported to an area hospital," Forest Hill Police Chief David Hernandez said. "We know we are missing another person."
