Firefighter hospitalized after 3-alarm fire
DALLAS - A firefighter was taken to the hospital with minor burns Wednesday because of a 3-alarm apartment fire in far north Dallas.
Dallas Fire-Rescue said the fire at the Trinity Village at Farmers Creek Apartments on Trinity Mills Road started around 11 a.m. It burned in the ceiling space between the first and second-floor boiler room and a shop above it.
While apartments were damaged, one firefighter was taken to the hospital to be treated after falling debris burned his left leg.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
