FORT WORTH, Texas - At least one person was killed in an early morning crash involving an 18-wheeler on Interstate 35W near Seminary Drive in Fort Worth.
The crash happened just before 5 a.m. in the southbound lanes of traffic. A big rig collided with several vehicles and hit a wall. The trailer is jackknifed and another vehicle appeared to be wedged underneath it.
Southbound lanes were still closed as of midday for cleanup and an investigation, with police saying it would remain that way into the afternoon.
All southbound traffic is being routed to the service road at Berry Street. The backup goes all the way to the Interstate 30 interchange.
