DPD Narcotics Officer arrested in DWI investigation
A Dallas Police officer is on leave as his arrest is investigated.
Dallas Police Senior Corporal Johnathan Sharkey was arrested by the Wylie Police Department for investigation of driving while intoxicated.
Details surrounding his arrest are not readily available.
Sharkey has been with the Dallas Police since April 2006 and is currently assigned to the Narcotics Division.
The Department's Internal Affairs Division will conduct an investigation.
He has been placed on Administrative Leave.
