Dallas police investigate crash that injured three

Dallas police said alcohol is a factor in a crash that injured three people Friday night.

Investigator said a man in a pickup truck ran a red light and slammed into a car at the intersection of Fort Worth Avenue and Westmoreland Road in Oak Cliff around 11:30 p.m.

Police said three people were taken to a local hospital.

Dallas police said the driver of the pickup truck was under the influence and will be charged with Intoxication Assault.
