Dallas man accused of beating puppy to death
Dallas police arrested a man they say beat his puppy to death.
Thyren Justus, 35, has been charged with torturing a non-livestock animal. Police went to his apartment on Wheeler Street early Sunday after a neighbor called 911 about hearing a disturbance.
Police said the dead dog had a fractured skull and mangled leg.
Police documents said Justus had bite and scratch marks but that he couldn't get his story straight about what happened after he came home from the St. Patrick's Day parade and party.
Justus had previously posted pictures of the dog and himself on Facebook. Justus posted bond and is out of jail.
