Dallas County Judge cautious about state's non-citizen voter list

Election officials in several Texas counties, including Dallas, say the Texas Secretary of State is telling them there are problems with a recent report on illegal voting.

Last week, the Secretary of State's office announced 95,000 non-U.S. citizens have voter registration records in Texas.

The Dallas County elections administrator says state officials told her some voters on that list had already provided proof of citizenship.

Another says he was told there is a "significant" number of voters whose citizenship is no longer in question.

The Secretary of State's office has not said how much this will reduce the final count.

Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins discussed this latest development on Good Day.
