Here's where Dallas ranked in new list of America's best cities

Dallas is one of America's best cities, according to a new report.

Dallas ranked 14th in America's Best Cities of 2025 Report, making it the second highest-ranked city in Texas, behind Houston (13).

The ranking, done by Resonance, looked at several metrics, including things like housing affordability, parks, walkability, nightlife, restaurants, attractions, poverty rate and companies headquartered in the cities.

In the rankings, Dallas placed well in several areas.

Dallas was ranked fourth overall for its airport and sixth overall for its large companies.

The rankings cited the upgrades coming to DFW Airport and Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, the upcoming Goldman Sachs' campus and Wells Fargo's upcoming Las Colinas HQ.

While Houston finished one spot above Dallas, the city finished just ahead of Austin (15). San Antonio (41) and El Paso (100) were the other Texas cities to make the list.
