Crash knocks out power to parts of Uptown Dallas
DALLAS - Most of the power has been restored to parts of Uptown Dallas following a crash.
A driver crashed into a utility pole early Monday morning on McKinney Avenue. The pole fell and pulled down two other poles.
The SUV flipped on its roof, but the driver was not seriously hurt. He was arrested after police said he failed a sobriety test.
The crash knocked out power for several blocks. Oncor crews were called in to reroute the power and set new poles.
