Chase ends with truck in Pleasant Grove yard

DALLAS - A chase involving two drivers ended with a truck hitting several vehicles in front of a home.

It happened around 9 p.m. Wednesday near Lake June and Holcomb roads in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas.

Police said the driver of a white car and a pickup truck got into an argument at a nearby gas station. The truck’s driver then chased the car down Holcomb Road.

The truck driver lost control on Tenino Road and hit a fence, three cars and a light pole before landing in the front yard of someone’s home.

“These two kids were racing and all you hear is a big boom. It sounded like it hit wood and it went off to these peoples’ houses,” said Bret Taylor, who witnessed the crash.

A teenager in the truck was hurt.

The driver of the car did not stop.
