Police are no longer looking for two men who were allegedly involved in an attempted abduction at a school in Cedar Hill Friday morning.

Cedar Hill police said Friday afternoon they couldn't find the two suspects being sought and they no longer believe there was an abduction attempt from Newman International Academy on FM 1382.

Police spent hours searching for the suspects in the area around with help from the Dallas Police Department’s helicopter.

The Cedar Hill Independent School District had the Ninth Grade Center and Bray Elementary sheltering in place for about an hour because of the police activity.
