Body found in submerged truck in Seagoville
SEAGOVILLE, Texas - A driver was found dead in a submerged pickup truck Sunday morning.
The vehicle was found in Seagoville, southeast of Dallas. Dallas County Sheriff’s Department said deputies got a call about the truck near a levee around 7 a.m.
The truck was in about 20 feet of water. It’s not yet clear how long it had there.
The sheriff’s department has not yet released any information about the driver. There were no passengers in the vehicle.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine a cause of death.
