Arrest made in North Richland Hills murder

Julie Marie Peterson, 37, has been arrested and charged with capital murder in connection to the death of Kathleen Downey Olson, according to police.

Olson was found dead in her apartment on Wednesday morning. She had been stabbed multiple times.

Police say Peterson had been living at the apartment with Olson. They say Peterson attacked Olson, put her in a bathtub and covered up her body.

Peterson might have taken some items from the apartment belonging to Olson, including her vehicle.

Police are unsure of a motive at this time.

Peterson is in jail on a $1 million bond.
