Arlington narrows search for new police chief

The city of Arlington is on a mission to find its next police chief.

Arlington is narrowing the search to replace Chief Will Johnson, who spent his career with the city and left at the end of June.

Nearly 75 people applied for the job and 24 will make it to the next round.

The city hopes to name a chief by late October or early November.

For now, the department is being run by two assistant chiefs.
