71-year-old Arlington man killed in hit and run

Arlington police are looking for the driver who hit and killed a man while he was crossing the street late Wednesday.

Investigators said the hit and run happened at the intersection of Collins and Mayfield about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. Witnesses said the driver initially stopped but then drove off.

The victim, Nghi Pham, 71, was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators are looking for a newer model dark-colored pickup truck with a lift kit and tinted windows. The truck may also have damage to the front end.
