5-year-old girl injured in drive-by shooting in Fort Worth
FORT WORTH, Texas - Fort Worth police are investigating a drive-by shooting that injured a 5-year-old girl.
It happened at a home in South Fort Worth on Wayland Drive shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Someone called 911 saying their sister had been shot. Police believe the 5-year-old girl was injured when someone drove by and shot into the home.
The girl was taken to Cook Children's Hospital with minor injuries.
There's no word on the suspects.
