3 men shot overnight at Dallas restaurant

Three people were shot overnight inside a restaurant in northwest Dallas.

The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Las Hamacas Restaurant and Bar on Denton Drive.

Police believe there was some type of altercation between four patrons at the bar. One man pulled out a handgun, shot the three others and then left.

A female employee was in the bathroom at the time of the shooting. She called 911 for help.

Two of the victims were taken to the hospital in serious condition and the third was in fair condition.

All of the victims are Hispanic males who are ages 22, 27 and 33.

The gunman was described as a Latin male who is about 30 years old.

Police said they are still interviewing witnesses and pursing leads. They have not yet made an arrest.
