2 shot in Pleasant Grove parking lot

DALLAS - Two people were shot in a Sam’s Club parking lot in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. Monday outside the store near South Buckner and Samuell boulevards. Police said a large group of people gathered there after leaving a nearby night club and a fight broke out.

Shots were fired and two men in their 20s were hit. One may have also been hit by a car that was fleeing the scene.

The victims were taken to a local hospital in serious condition. Police said their injuries were not life-threatening.

The gunman is still at large.
