One man was killed and another was injured in a late-night stabbing at a south Dallas car wash.

Officers found the victims at the Sparkle Wash South Haskell Avenue, only a few blocks away from Fair Park.

Dallas police said one man’s body was inside a large metal shipping container. Several of those containers are along the edge of the car wash parking lot and detectives believe that’s where the stabbings happened.

The second man was taken to the hospital for surgery but is expected to survive.

At this point, detectives have little to go on. They’re looking clues from security cameras and they’re hoping to talk to the survivor once he recovers.

Police also found a dog inside a van that was parked nearby. The dog was taken to Dallas’ animal shelter.
