18-year-old drowns on 4th of July
An 18-year-old woman is latest drowning victim in north Texas.
She was swimming at Granbury City Beach Saturday when she went under, according to Hood County Sheriff’s Department deputies.
A 9-1-1 call was made around 6:00 p.m. Her body was found about an hour later.
Paramedics performed CPR and took her to Lake Granbury Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
