Texas House, Senate about $3 billion apart on education spending

The Texas Legislature, as well as the governor and lieutenant governor, put public education at the top of their priority list for this session. But there is a lot to do in the session that ends in May. Texas Tribune reporter Alana Rocha gives an update. She says the House and Senate are about $3 billion apart on public education spending.
