Grapefest features wines and family-friendly fun
GRAPEVINE, Texas - The shoes are off and FOX 4’s Shannon Murray is ready to turn grapes into what they call the crush. Next stop – wine!
Texas is actually the fifth largest wine producing state in the United States and Grapevine is home to the Texas Wind and Grape Growers Association plus Texas’ premier Urban Wine Trail.
Grapefest, which runs through Sunday, is the largest wine festival in the southwest with wine tastings from Texas and other parts of the country.
The festival is also family friendly with music, a children’s area, pogo performers and, of course, grape stomping!
