Good Day tries Fernie's Hoppin' John Cake

Good Day got the chance to try another top State Fair of Texas treat. Fernie's Hoppin' John Cake won for the best savory taste in the Big Tex Choice Awards. It's a fried ball of black-eyed peas with white rice, spicy smoked sausage, green onions and spices.
